Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!

The faculty and staff of East Union Intermediate Center are excited to begin "BUZZING" about to prepare for the start of another new school
year and work together to create an outstanding academic experience for your child in our "HIVE!"

Your children will be greeted by an exceptionally strong and professional staff comprised of seasoned educators and those new to the profession.  They all share the same strong work ethic and commitment to serve all students in an environment that is supportive of our student’s social and emotional needs as well as their academic needs.

Learner ProfileOur instruction is rooted in our district's Profile of a Learner which we have worked hard to develop over the last several years.  This framework includes opportunities for your child to:

  • Be Creative
  • Work in Collaborative ways with others
  • Communicate with others
  • Be an Empowered Citizen.
  • Practice Wellness physically and mental

We want their learning opportunities to be authentic, personalized, competency-based, inclusive & equitable.

Active participation in your child’s education is important.  Helping your child maintain positive work habits and attendance will ensure that he/she succeeds in the classroom.  Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the East Union Intermediate Center Student Handbook which can be found on our district website. The handbook addresses many issues that may arise during the school year.  It is our objective to be proactive in helping students succeed, and this handbook is one way to do this.

Our goal at East Union is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, and creative problem solvers, and inspire learners to thrive in the twenty-first century.

We are looking forward to an "UN-BEE-LIEVEABLE" year!
